How to Add a Disclaimer Message on Media Download
In VIDIZMO, you can create a message that displays when users download content from your Portal. This message can include information about confidentiality, legal privileges, copyright restrictions, or any other terms users must acknowledge before downloading.
When a user selects Download for portal content, a pop-up window displays the message. Users must select OK to continue with the download.
Prerequisites
- Ensure you belong to a group with Portal Management and Download Settings features enabled.
- Ensure downloading is enabled for your media via Media Settings or Default Publish Settings.
Add Disclaimer Message
- Select the navigation menu.
- Expand Admin.
- Select Portal Settings.
- Expand Library.
- Select Download Settings.
- Select the checkbox to enable the download message functionality.
- Enter the message to display to users upon download.
- Select Update.
